Transforming your most cherished memories from photos into archival-quality heirlooms. Whether reconstructing a blurred moment or capturing a life-long bond, I bring your vision to life through a collaborative process of classical technique and modern insight.
Original watercolor, acrylic, and digital portraits—capturing love, memory, and personality with every brushstroke.
My work is defined by vibrant, hand-mixed palettes and expressive movement. I don’t just paint a likeness; I use light and texture to capture a personality that feels alive, turning a static reference into a piece of fine art with a heartbeat.
I offer professional commissions across three distinct disciplines. Whether you want the luminous glow of watercolor on archival paper, the rich texture of acrylic/oil on canvas, or a high-resolution hand-painted digital original, each stroke is guided by the same fine-art mastery.
I specialize in “The Recon”—the technical process of building a high-end portrait from limited, old, or blurry photos. Using anatomical intuition, I bridge the gaps in your reference material to restore clarity, character, and a lasting legacy.
Every original is a premium experience. I use only professional-grade, archival materials to ensure longevity. Your art arrives safely packed with a Certificate of Authenticity and a curated selection of studio “goodies” from my easel to your home.
Great portraits don’t start with perfect photos. From candid snapshots to older or limited references, I reconstruct and elevate each image into a piece of fine art—capturing not just likeness, but presence and story.
Some moments deserve to live beyond the photo. I transform candid images and milestones into expressive, one-of-a-kind portraits—artwork that holds memory, personality, and feeling.
Equine portraits are at the heart of my work. From the power and movement of a horse to the personality of a beloved companion, I create custom portraits that capture presence, structure, and spirit—bringing each subject to life beyond the photo.
Furry, feathered, or scaled—I capture each with the same level of care and attention.

Some moments are tied to a place, a room, or the quiet details we return to. I create still life and landscape paintings that capture atmosphere and memory—favorite spaces, meaningful objects, or scenes that bring you back to a specific time and feeling.
I create custom artwork for book covers, albums, editorial features, podcasts, and brand storytelling—bringing a hand-crafted, expressive approach to visual content that stands apart from the digital noise. Explore commercial projects and collaborations →

I recently commissioned a painting from Liza, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
From just a few photos and a couple of questions, she was able to capture exactly what I was looking for with incredible detail and artistry.
The quality of her work is outstanding, and it’s clear that she puts great care into every brushstroke. Her ability to bring a vision to life is truly impressive. The entire process was smooth and professional, and Liza’s talent speaks for itself.
I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a custom piece of art—you won’t be disappointed! I will definitely be commissioning her again in the future.

Absolutely perfect. The portrait was beautifully done.
She truly matched Molly and Lily coloring and likeness. Her attention to the detail of each dog was excellent.
She also did provided the framing. The quality of her work is excellent. She completed this portrait fast per my request.
This was a Christmas gift delivered on time.
I will be returning for another portrait of a different dog and cat.

A 16×20 acrylic commission—painted, shipped, and delivered in two weeks. Created for a 40th birthday, the brief called for something bold: “Miami Vice” vibes, pop-art color, graffiti energy, and a crown. A French bulldog draped across his friend’s lap tied it all together.
It started with just a handful of photos.
